Volkswagen Racing UK was formed by Volkswagen AG to run its Motorsport Programmes in the UK in 1997. Initially, they competed in the British Rally Championship, winning the Championship with the Golf Mk4 widebodied 'formula 2' car. Since then they've moved to circuit racing, now running the high-profile Volkswagen racing cup, one of the UK's most successful saloon car racing championships.
From their workshops in Blakelands, Milton Keynes, they prepare numerous racing Volkswagens for the Championship. They also develop race and rally cars for customers around the world, and assist other Volkswagen drivers in race championships with their specialists parts and expertise.
